<p>As many fellow hotwheels collectors have found, collecting hotwheels allows you to have many of the same toy hotwheel cars you had as a kid (and some you didn't have). It also is a great way to collect those custom american cars like Mustangs, Corverttes, Camaros, Cougars, Firebirds etc.
<P>Since Mattel<sub>®</sub> made so many hotwheels and continues
to make them today, it is almost impossible to collect everything.
Therefore, I have chosen the high end of the hotwheels collection (Redline HotWheels) to collect.
<p>Redlines were made from 1968 through 1977. They are easily
identified by the red wall stripe around each of the tires. Mattel<sub>®</sub> Has made some reproductions of the redline tires in the last few years, but they are identified on the base of the hotwheel as "Vintage", "25th Anniversary", etc.
<p>I have been collecting for a few years now and have amassed about 100 different redline hotwheels. I have listed links to pictures of my redlines along the sides of this web page. <p>As you can see, I have concentrated on Custom and Spoiler model
hotwheels from 1968 throgh 1971. I am always looking to Buy, Sell, or Trade with any fellow hotwheel collectors. However, to outright sell would take a pretty good offer. <B>I am very interested in buying or trading for Redline Hotwheels that are in good shape. I also buy entire collections.</B> Good shape to me means very few
if any scratches or chips.
